| 1986 | For the first time GÜNTHER Heißkanaltechnik exhibits at the world's largest plastics fair. Agencies are set up in Austria (Dipl.-Ing. H. Günther Ges.m.H.) and in the Benelux states (TB-Bäcker). |

| 1990 | The demand for GÜNTHER Hot Runner Systems rises rapidly and accordingly the number of employees increases to 40. |
| 1991 | Agencies are added in France (GÜNTHER France S.A.) and Finland and the 50th employee is hired. |
| 1992 | GÜNTHER conquers the market in America. Foundation of the GUNTHER Hot Runner Systems Inc. subsidiary in Chicago. In addition to the 5-V technology a 230-V system is developed in order to be able to serve broader market segments. |
| 1993 | The Römhild industrial agency serves the customers in the east of Germany. |
| 1995 | The number of employees reaches 88 and the first 24-V system is produced. By designing hot-runner systems in three operating voltages, the company creates a unique position for itself throughout the world. Günther is represented in the Czech Republic now too. |
| 1996 | The international presence is expanded further with the addition of agencies in Switzerland, Portugal and Brazil. |
| 1997 | Co-operation starts with an agency in Israel. |
| 1998 | The export business is accelerated by presentations at trade fairs in USA, Brazil, Scandinavia, Italy and France and the number of employees rises to 113. An agency is set up in Poland (GÜNTHER Poland). |
| 1999 | In addition to agencies in Spain, Slovenia and Denmark, GÜNTHER is also active in Asia and agencies are set up in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The number of employees increases to 120 and the premises are no longer large enough. In July therefore the sod is turned for a new building on a 15,000 sq. m site not far from the old company base. Already at the end of the year the 3,000 sq. m factory hall is ready and production moves into the new building at the turn of the year. April sees the completion of the second phase of the construction of the new administration building and administration moves into the 1,500 sq. m building. With this new company building extending over a total area of 4,500 sq. m, we now have the right conditions for further expansion. |
| 2000 | In addition to the new construction, investments are made in machinery to the value of a good 1 million Mark: two cylindrical grinding machine, a 5-axis CNC milling machine, a measuring machine and two lathes are purchased. In this year alone 20 people are hired and the total number of employees rises to 140. |
| 2001 | GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology is now represented in 19 countries and even with a manufacturing plant in Chicago (USA). Exports amount to 45%. |
| 2002 | Commencement of the L.I.F.E. project with B. Braun, Melsungen. GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology is part of the advisory team. July: The 100,000th nozzle is handed over to Mr Auer from Megaplast. GÜNTHER is represented in India by the firm of Nitoo Sales. |
| 2003 | By now the company has 180 employees and GÜNTHER Hot Runner Systems are in use in almost all areas of plastics processing. GÜNTHER celebrates its 20th jubilee in style. Our modern machinery is expanded by a milling centre from the firm of Deckel Maho, a TBT deep hole drilling centre, 2 Spinner CNC lathes and a Kellenberger grinding machine. An agency in Hungary is added. |
| 2004 | GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology participates in the K fair (for the first time the stand is over 90 m² in area) and presents the new PM needle guide in the LA and VA versions. Management is expanded with the appointment of Ms S. Sommer as a member of the directorate as part of Mr Günther’s plan to facilitate a “gentle” transition to the further management of the company. L.I.F.E. project by B. Braun, Melsungen. In February 2004 the first bottles are filled. GÜNTHER Italia is founded and in Korea co-operation is started with the firm of IMTS. |
| 2005 | Hot runner forum in Frankenberg on 21. April with the theme of the advantages of modern hot runner technology in connection with challenging materials. Over 100 participants find this event excellent. Mid-2005: GÜNTHER USA moves into new company premises in West Chicago. Project L.I.F.E. B. Braun, Melsungen: the system has been running under full load since the beginning of the year. GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology presents at the Chinaplast in the People’s Republic of China for the first time. May 2005: GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology is now represented in Portugal by Newserve Ltd., based in Gandara dos Olivais, Leiria. |
| 2006 | In March GUENTHER Hot Runner Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is founded as a subsidiary in the People’s Republic of China. In May 2006 the GÜNTHER CADHOC System Designer is presented to the relevant trade world. The first configurator to make a hot-runner system incl. negative volumes and price information (PDF) available online within a very short time. CADHOC road show with events in England, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Portugal. Investments in modern machinery come to over 1,700,000.– EURO. |
| 2007 | 2-C mould 64 + 64-cavity delivered to England for clean room production. More investments in modern machinery 1,500,000.- EURO. Installation of clean room production. Exhibitor at the K 2007 in Düsseldorf. |
| 2008 | GÜNTHER Hot Runner Technology celebrates its 25-year jubilee. In conjunction with the jubilee, symposia are held in Jena, Graz, Nuremberg, Porta Westfalica, Karlsruhe and in Frankenberg. Ground-breaking ceremony on 14 May for the construction of the hall extension. GÜNTHER now has a further 1,800 square metres of production area. Investment volume 2.2 mn EURO. A further 1.5 mn EURO is invested in highly modern machinery and 15 to 20 new workplaces are created. Completion scheduled for October 2008. Celebration in the new hall on 2 October. Employees: GÜNTHER now has about 200 employees. GÜNTHER Hot Runner Systems are in use in almost all areas of plastics processing. The precision of GÜNTHER Hot Runner nozzles is appreciated in the automobile industry, electrical industry, in electronics and information technology as well as in medical and laboratory technology. |
